These Terms of Service govern your use of rhlights.com and any quotation, order or supply of goods that follows from it. Please read them before submitting an enquiry.
Who you are dealing with
RHL Lighting is a trading name of Matinmorn inc, a corporation registered in the State of Colorado, United States, with its registered office at 6547 N Academy Blvd #2266, Colorado Springs, CO 80918. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Matinmorn inc. "You" means the person or company making an enquiry or placing an order.
This website does not sell directly
Nothing on this website is an offer to sell. Products shown here are examples of what we make. Sizes, finishes and specifications are adjustable, and every project is quoted individually. A contract is formed only when we issue a written quotation and you accept it in writing.
Enquiries and quotations
- Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless stated otherwise on the quotation itself.
- Quotations are based on the information you give us. If dimensions, quantities, finishes or the destination country change, the price and lead time may change with them.
- Any drawing, rendering or sample we prepare during the enquiry stage remains our property until an order is confirmed.
Made-to-order products
Most of what we supply is manufactured to your specification. This has consequences you should understand before ordering:
- We issue a manufacturing drawing for your approval. Production begins only after you approve it in writing. The approved drawing, not the website image, defines what we build.
- Once production has begun, a made-to-order item cannot be cancelled or returned except where it is faulty or does not match the approved drawing.
- Hand-blown glass, natural stone and hand-applied finishes vary between pieces. Variation in veining, tint and surface is a characteristic of the material, not a defect.
Prices and payment
All prices are quoted in US dollars. For orders shipped to the United States, quotations include shipping and all import duties and tariffs — the price we confirm is the price you pay, with nothing added at delivery. For other destinations, shipping and duties are quoted case by case. Deposit and balance terms are stated on each quotation. For orders shipped to the United States, import duties, tariffs and customs charges are paid by us. For destinations outside the United States, local duties and taxes are your responsibility unless your quotation states otherwise.
Lead times and delivery
Lead times quoted are estimates in working days and run from the date you approve the manufacturing drawing, not from the date of enquiry. We will tell you promptly if a lead time changes. Delivery, transit times, risk and damage-in-transit are covered in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Returns and cancellations
Returns, refunds and cancellation of standard (non-customised) items are covered in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. Made-to-order items are subject to clause 4 above.
Warranty
We warrant that goods will be free from defects in materials and workmanship, and will match the approved manufacturing drawing, for 24 months (2 years) from the date of delivery. The warranty covers repair or replacement of the affected part at our option. It does not cover:
- damage caused by incorrect installation, or installation by anyone other than a qualified electrician;
- use outside the rated voltage, or in an environment the fixture is not rated for;
- ordinary wear, glass breakage after delivery, or damage caused by cleaning agents;
- lamps and light sources, which are consumable items.
Installation must comply with the electrical regulations of the destination country. We supply fixtures built to the voltage and certification you specify at quotation stage.
Intellectual property
All designs, drawings, photographs, text and other material on this website belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or use them commercially without our written permission. Where you supply us with a design, drawing or specification, you confirm you have the right to do so and that our manufacture of it will not infringe anyone else's rights.
Your use of this website
You agree not to use this website to send false enquiries, to harvest data, or in any way that damages or interferes with it. We may withdraw access if you do.
Personal information
When you submit an enquiry we collect your name, contact details and the project information you provide. How we handle it is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our total liability arising out of any order is limited to the amount you paid for the goods concerned, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of contract, or costs arising from project delay.
Events outside our control
We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including supply shortages, transport disruption, port congestion, natural events and changes in law or tariffs. Where such an event occurs we will tell you and agree a revised timetable with you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States. The courts of Colorado have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the version published on the date your quotation was issued.
