Custom Process
How a custom fixture gets made
Six steps from your first sketch to a fixture hanging on site. You approve a full manufacturing drawing before anything is cut.
STEP 01
Brief & reference
Send us the room dimensions, ceiling height and any reference images or architectural drawings. A rough sketch on paper is enough to start.
STEP 02
Concept & quotation
You receive a concept rendering, material and finish options, and a firm price. Typically within three working days.
STEP 03
Manufacturing drawing
A full production drawing set: every dimension, material grade, finish spec, wiring diagram and fixing load. Nothing enters production until you sign it off.
STEP 04
Sample or prototype
For larger projects we build one unit, or a single cluster of a multi-part piece, for your approval before the full run begins.
STEP 05
Manufacturing
Hand-blown glass, brass machining, PVD finishing and assembly in our own workshop. Standard lead time is 25 to 30 working days.
STEP 06
Testing & delivery
Two hours of burn-in plus dielectric and earth-continuity testing on every fixture. Packed in fitted cartons with an installation drawing and spare parts.
We keep your approved drawing on file: if you need to source a replacement part in five years, or match a second fixture to the first, the drawing tells you exactly what it is.

Drop height is adjustable on most designs — give us the ceiling height at enquiry.
Electrical Standards
CE and RoHS as standard; UL Listing is available for US commercial projects on request.
Pitched Ceilings
Most suspended designs mount on sloped and vaulted ceilings — send us the pitch.
Installation & Wiring
An installation drawing is available for every piece; hardwiring is done by a qualified electrician.
